RESMET Q & A


Does it handle both rentals and sales?
Absolutely. RESMET handles both rentals and sales. You can even list a property as a rental & a sale simultaneously. Both rental and sales history are also tracked so its easy to see what the property has sold or rented for in the past.

I am often away from the office, can I access RESMET remotely?
RESMET is a web-based solution. You and any of your agents can access your listings from any computer with web access. No plug-ins are required and 90% of the time, your computer already meets the minimum requirements.

Do I have to purchase a server and/or install software?
No, you'll never have to install software to run RESMET. It is hosted by us so you don't need an IT staff to get it up and running. Youre always running the latest version of RESMET; you'll benefit immediately when new features are added and bugs are fixed. Your data is also instantly backed up on our servers and backed up to 2 offsite servers every 24 hours.

Is my data secure and private?
The privacy of your data is very important to us. The servers that host RESMET are locked down and housed in a state-of-the-art secure facility with redundant power & internet connectivity. Your site is password protected and only you have access to add/remove users and change passwords. Your passwords are transmitted using 128 bit SSL encryption; the same type of encryption used to submit credit card information on eCommerce websites.

Can I get my data out of RESMET?
You can get an export of your data in XML format by contacting us at any time. You can use this export as a feed for other services or should you wish to discontinue using RESMET.

I want to install RESMET in my office, can we host it ourselves?
We have thought about this option at length. RESMET uses an enterprise database and web server that command high licensing costs. These costs are prohibitive for most companies. However, should you still think this is a viable option, please contact us.
